Kilowatt Baby is an experimental educational service, realized inside our coworking space. KW Baby is a collaborative and innovative welfare project, designed to reconcile the needs of families for flexibility related to new jobs, with the educational rights, social relations and freedom of children. A replicable model co-designed with parents, educators, and with the patronage of the University of Bologna.
Kw Camps are summer and winter camps for boys and girls from 6 to 12 years old. They are focused on creativity, on making and on “the skills of the future”; the activities take place in the beautiful natural setting of Le Serre Giardini Margherita.
Experimental Educational Path
Kilowatt’s educational activities are based on outdoor education and children’s literature, valuing creativity, the body, freedom of expression, relationships and sharing.
School as a place for innovation
We offer a project of Work Related Learning (alternanza scuola lavoro) with the aim of supporting students in the development of their talents and skills. Our project favours the “learning by doing” approach and the hybridization of knowledge.
Kinder Wonder is the summer program dedicated to children and families. “Kinder Wonder: it’s a lions’ life!” is part of Kilowatt Summer’s program – which goes from June to September – and is designed to offer space and time for sharing, as well as conciliation opportunities for those who remain in the city during the summer.
